NeuralFin Platform Guide: From First Login to Your First Copied Trade
This guide walks you through everything you need to get started with NeuralFin -- from your first login to watching trades copy automatically between your MT5 accounts. Whether you're here for cross-broker copy trading, swap hedge arbitrage, or portfolio analytics, it all starts with the same few steps.
By the end of this walkthrough, you'll have connected your MT5 accounts, created your first copier, and understood how to use every major feature of the platform. Total setup time: about 10 minutes.
Getting started: sign in with Google
Head to app.neurafin.ai and click "Sign in with Google." NeuralFin uses Google authentication exclusively -- there are no usernames or passwords to create or remember. One click with your Google account and you're in.
If this is your first time signing in, your account is created automatically. You'll land on your dashboard, which will be empty for now. That changes in the next few minutes.
Step 1: Connect your MT5 accounts
The first thing you need to do is connect the MT5 accounts you want to work with. Navigate to the Accounts page from the sidebar and click Add Account.
You'll need four pieces of information for each account:
- MT5 login number -- the numeric login your broker gave you (e.g., 5012345)
- MT5 password -- your trading password (not the investor/read-only password). This is encrypted and stored securely.
- Broker and server -- select your broker from the list, then choose the correct server (e.g., ICMarketsSC-Demo, Pepperstone-Live02)
- Account name -- a friendly label like "IC Markets Main" or "Pepperstone Gold" so you can identify accounts at a glance
Choosing Master vs. Follower
When adding an account, you choose its role:
- Master -- this is the account you actively trade on. The platform monitors it for new positions and sends copy signals when trades are opened or closed.
- Follower -- this account receives and executes copied trades automatically. You don't trade on it directly; the platform manages it.
You need at least one master and one follower to set up copy trading. They can be at the same broker or different brokers -- the platform handles cross-broker copying natively.
After you submit the account details, the system validates your credentials and establishes a connection. This typically takes a few seconds. Once the status shows active, the account is connected and ready.
Step 2: Set up your first copier
With at least one master and one follower connected, navigate to the Copiers page and click New Copier. A copier is the link between a master account and a follower account -- it defines what gets copied and how.
Select your accounts
Choose which master account to copy from and which follower account to copy to. You can create multiple copiers from the same master to different followers, or from different masters to the same follower.
Choose a risk mode
The risk mode determines how trade volume is calculated on the follower account. NeuralFin offers four modes:
- Fixed Lot: every copied trade uses a constant lot size you specify. If you set 0.10, every trade on the follower opens at 0.10 lots regardless of what the master trades. This is the simplest mode and a good starting point.
- Lot Multiplier: the master's lot size is multiplied by a factor. A multiplier of 0.5 means if the master trades 1.0 lot, the follower trades 0.5 lots. Useful when the follower account is smaller.
- Equity Percentage: each trade is sized as a percentage of the follower's equity. This mode automatically scales position sizes as the account grows or shrinks. Set it to 1% and a $10,000 follower account will risk $100 per trade.
- Mirror: copies the exact lot size from master to follower. A 1:1 replication. Best when both accounts are similar in size.
If you're unsure, start with Fixed Lot at a small size like 0.01. You can always change the risk mode later without disrupting open positions.
Configure stop-loss and take-profit handling
You have three options for how SL/TP levels are handled on copied trades:
- Mirror: copies the exact SL/TP prices from the master trade. If the master sets a stop loss at 1.0800 on EURUSD, the follower gets the same level.
- Custom pips: you define fixed SL/TP distances in pips. Regardless of the master's levels, the follower always uses your specified values.
- Exclude: copied trades have no SL/TP. The follower trade closes only when the master trade closes.
Set safety limits
Before activating the copier, configure your safety limits:
- Max lot size: caps the maximum volume per trade. Even if the risk calculation suggests 5.0 lots, the copier will cap it at your limit.
- Max open trades: limits how many positions the follower can have open simultaneously.
- Max slippage: defines the maximum acceptable price slippage in points when executing the copied trade.
Symbol filters (optional)
If your master account trades many instruments but you only want the follower to copy specific ones, add a symbol filter. For example, you could configure the copier to only copy XAUUSD and EURUSD trades while ignoring everything else.
Symbol mappings for cross-broker copying
Different brokers sometimes use different names for the same instrument. XAUUSD on one broker might be called GOLD on another. If your master and follower are on different brokers with different symbol names, set up a symbol mapping. Go to Symbol Mappings in the sidebar and map the master's symbol to the follower's equivalent. The platform applies these mappings automatically during trade copying.
Once everything is configured, click Activate. The copier is now live.
Step 3: Watch trades copy in real time
With the copier active, trade on your master account as you normally would -- through your MT5 terminal, mobile app, or any other method. NeuralFin monitors your master account by polling for position changes every 500 milliseconds.
When you open a trade on the master:
- The platform detects the new position within 500ms.
- A trade signal is created with the symbol, direction, and volume.
- The risk mode calculates the follower's lot size.
- If the brokers use different symbol names, symbol mapping is applied.
- The trade is executed on the follower account.
The entire process takes under one second. Measured P95 latency is 606 milliseconds -- that means 95% of trades copy in under 0.6 seconds.
Navigate to the Trades page to see real-time signals as they flow through the system. Each signal shows the master trade, the follower execution, and the status. The Dashboard shows live floating P&L across all your copiers.
When you close a trade on the master, the follower's corresponding position closes automatically with the same speed. Partial closes and modifications (SL/TP changes) are also replicated.
Step 4: Explore swap hedge opportunities
Beyond copy trading, NeuralFin includes a complete swap hedge arbitrage system. If you're not familiar with swap arbitrage, here's the concept: different brokers charge different swap rates for overnight positions. By opening opposing positions on two different brokers -- long on one, short on the other -- you can earn the net difference in swap rates as daily income while the price movements cancel each other out.
Navigate to Hedge in the sidebar and then Opportunities. The platform automatically scans swap rates across your connected brokers and ranks opportunities by profitability. Each opportunity shows:
- The symbol and the two brokers involved
- Net swap income per lot per day in USD
- Break-even period (how many days until swap income covers the spread cost of opening both positions)
- A composite score factoring in profitability, stability, and risk
If an opportunity looks good, you create a hedge profile specifying the accounts, symbol, and lot size. When you execute it, the platform opens both sides simultaneously and monitors margin levels continuously. Detailed swap hedge management is covered in our other guides, but the key point is: it's built into the same platform, using the same connected accounts.
Step 5: Monitor your portfolio
Navigate to Portfolio in the sidebar for a unified view across every connected account. The portfolio dashboard shows:
- Total equity and balance across all accounts combined
- Equity curve with high-water mark tracking over 7, 30, or 90 days
- Currency exposure -- your net position in each currency across all accounts, showing hidden concentration risks
- Daily P&L -- profitable and losing days visualized as a bar chart
- Broker costs -- compare average spreads, commissions, and swap rates by symbol across your brokers
- Open positions -- all positions from all accounts in one consolidated table, sortable and groupable
Portfolio snapshots are captured automatically every five minutes. There's nothing to configure -- connect your accounts and the data starts flowing.
Step 6: Set up Telegram alerts
NeuralFin can send you real-time notifications via Telegram so you stay informed without watching the dashboard constantly. To set this up:
- Go to Settings in the sidebar.
- Find the Telegram section and click Connect Telegram.
- Follow the link to start a conversation with the NeuralFin bot on Telegram.
- Once linked, configure which notifications you want to receive.
Available alert types include:
- Margin alerts: get notified when any account's margin level drops below a threshold
- Trade notifications: receive a message every time a trade is copied or closed
- Swap updates: alerts when swap rates change significantly on your hedge positions
Telegram alerts are particularly valuable for hedge positions where margin monitoring matters. If a sudden market move pushes margin levels down, you'll know immediately -- even if you're away from your desk.
Tips and best practices
Here are some practical recommendations from traders who use the platform daily:
Start with a demo account
Before copying to a live account with real money, set up the copier with a demo follower account. Most brokers offer free demo accounts with virtual funds. Run the copier for a few days to verify that trades copy correctly, lot sizes are what you expect, and SL/TP levels behave as configured. Once you're confident, switch to a live follower.
Begin with Fixed Lot mode
Fixed Lot is the most predictable risk mode. You know exactly what lot size every trade will use. Start here to build confidence in the system, then graduate to Lot Multiplier or Equity Percentage once you understand how each mode behaves with your trading style.
Monitor margin levels
Especially important if you run hedge positions or copy to accounts with smaller balances. The dashboard shows margin levels for each account, and Telegram alerts can warn you before things get tight. A margin call on a follower account will prevent new copied trades from executing.
Set up symbol mappings early
If your master and follower are on different brokers, check whether they use the same symbol names before activating the copier. Common differences include XAUUSD vs. GOLD, XAGUSD vs. SILVER, and suffix variations like EURUSD.raw or EURUSDm. Set up the mappings once and they apply to all copiers in that group.
Use copier groups to organize
If you have multiple copiers, organize them into copier groups. A group is a logical container that shares symbol mappings and makes it easier to manage related copiers. For example, you might have a "Gold Strategy" group with one master copying to three followers, each at a different broker.
Review the Trades page regularly
The Trades page shows every signal -- both successful executions and any that failed. If a trade fails to copy, the signal shows the error reason (insufficient margin, symbol not found, etc.). Regular review helps you catch and fix issues before they affect performance.
Pricing
NeuralFin plans start at $5/month for one slot. A slot is a connected MT5 account, and every slot includes all platform features: copy trading, swap hedge, and portfolio analytics. There are no feature tiers or hidden costs.
- Starter ($5/month): 1 slot -- perfect for trying the platform with one master or one follower
- Pro ($15/month): 3 slots -- enough for a master plus two followers, or a hedge pair plus a copier
- Enterprise (Custom): unlimited slots with dedicated support for professional traders and fund managers
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Settings page.
What to do next
You now have a complete picture of how NeuralFin works. The fastest path to getting started:
- Sign in at app.neurafin.ai with your Google account
- Add your master account (the one you trade on)
- Add a follower account (start with a demo account)
- Create a copier with Fixed Lot at 0.01
- Open a trade on your master and watch it appear on the follower
The entire process takes under 10 minutes. Once you see that first trade copy successfully, you'll understand why traders stop managing multiple terminals manually and let the platform handle the plumbing.
